“SON OF SUPERMAN” part four! The battle for Jon hits Metropolis as the Eradicator targets Superman’s son! Can the Man of Steel protect the city and his son against the Kryptonian executioner—or will he have to make a sacrifice?

Superman and Superboy vs the Eradicator. The souls of Krypton are inside the Eradicator.

Synopsis

Superman and his son (Superboy) attack the Eradicator with their combined powers. They bash his head and it looks like they have won, but then the unexpected happens. The souls of Krypton are released. All this time, the souls were inside the Eradicator, but now they're free. Unfortunately, it's not for the good as they claim the bodies of random citizens of Metropolis.

The souls have entered Clark's body as well, or at least under the influence, as he's screaming that they're exiles and that they are lost. However, Pa Kent appears in his subconscious as he tells that it's the duty of the living to carry on the legacy so that the dead can be free.

Clark is now fully in charge of his body. He immediately grabs Lois and Jon, puts them in a sub and flies far, far away.
